This is my granddaughter Alyssa the reason I got into beagling.I have always had hounds but when the hurricanes came through and wiped out our timber I gave up hunting with dogs until she came along.When she got big enough to go hunting with me I had to find something she could do and enjoy so I got some beagles.I started looking at differant lines not knowing really what I wanted so I just kept going until I settled on the Weircreek line.These little hounds really impressed me with the desire to hunt and run all day.
I have since aquired a small pack from differant people to start my line of Weircreeks in hopes to enjoy with my family and friends along with bettering the breed for rabbit hunters.I will mainly be breeding for a rabbit dog first then select for a trial dog out of them as I think if you do it any differant you can't keep good hunting dogs.
